When reviewing resumes and applications, we look for demonstrated passion and interest in furthering your knowledge of financial topics. We are looking primarily for freshmen and sophomores looking to go into high finance roles within PE, IB, Hedge Funds, private credit, etc. While prior internship or work experience within these fields is definitely a plus, we do not in the slightest mandate that applicants must have prior experience to be admitted. We particularly look for demonstrated personal, academic, and professional excellence throughout the various aspects of your career at Vanderbilt.
-
While we do not have a specific resume format that we look for, we encourage applicants to consult the Vanderbilt AKPsi website for guidance with your resume; they have a professional resume template that many of our successful applicants have used.

Because we review applications anonymously, please remove your name, hometown, Greek affiliations, and any other information that could be used to personally identify you from your resume. Additionally, please do not include your first or last name in the title of your PDF document.

The first round application consists of a few brief introductory questions and a resume drop. The second round will require you to submit a video answering a few short questions. The final round will be an interview with our team that will contain a behavioral portion and basic technical questions.
